According to Balbir Singh Dhillon, the head of Audi India, the luxury car market in the country is expected to grow by 8-10% in 2025. That means the industry could touch around 55,000 units this year, and Audi aims to grow at the same pace.

The year ahead looks much more promising for Audi, thanks to a combination of new launches, expanding its dealership network, and a stronger focus on customer satisfaction. One of the key drivers of growth is the brand’s pre-owned car business, which grew by over 30% in 2024. More and more people are stepping into the world of luxury cars through the pre-owned route, and Audi is making sure that these first-time buyers eventually become new car customers.
It really helps us because we are able to sell pre-owned cars to customers who are getting into luxury for the first time. And, thereafter, if you are able to convert them also into new car buyers, that is what our endeavor at the end of the day is,” Dhillon shared.

RS Q8 Performance SUV
The biggest highlight for Audi in 2025 is the launch of the RS Q8 Performance SUV, which was unveiled on Monday. This beast of a car is powered by a 4-litre V8 engine, making it the most powerful SUV in the Audi lineup.
